Lindeman’s Bin 65 Bright Chardonnay 2019: Medium-bodied. Medium acidity. Lemon, grapefruit and almond flavors. Finish had a mild hint of oak. Overall, the bright & happy label was the reason for the wine selection however surprisingly this economically priced wine was a decent pairing for last night’s halibut & scallops. Cheers🍷

Light straw in color with a light golden hue.

Nice nose of citrus, lemons, tropical fruits, apples, white peaches, melons, pears, passion fruits and spices.

Medium bodied with medium acidity and nice legs. Crisp and refreshing.

Dry on the palate with lemons, citrus, green apples, grapefruits, bitter herbs, spices and white pepper.

Medium finish with bitter almonds and spices.

This is a simple Chardonnay from Australia. Well balanced, crisp and refreshing. The nose surprised me, as it is very interesting with lots of citrus and tropical fruits. The palate is much simpler. Tastes like a blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Not bad for a bulk wine.

I paired it with cheeses, nuts and fresh fruits.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

82 Points.

$6.

Heavily oaked. High sugar. Spritzer wine. Better than the other white wine option, which was none.

Refreshing and light with a slight aftertaste. Pairs well with clean tasting fish.

Not very buttery for Chardonnay. Fresh and citrusy. Better for summer drinking.
