Also from a number of days ago. The worst thing about this wine is that it was our last one. Another awesome wine from Maggie Harrison...and it’s drinking perfectly right now.

Sep 15th, 2020Excellent roussanne from Maggie Harrison at Antica Terra. Nose has great notes of honeysuckle and other aromas that I can only describe as classic roussanne (because I’m just not good enough to ascribe aromatics). The palate has a terrific oily character to it, but was dominated by primary, relatively unevolved flavors. Still really good, but I suspect this is going to get so much better with a few more years in the bottle. Let it sit.
