Aug 12. Second wine for Lightning Wines. Light magenta/rosey pink. Floral and fruity attack with roses, strawberries, watermelon and melon. Finish was a little stinky. Great texture and mouth feel. Moderate acidity (6/10) and medium bodied with solid minerality, like wet stones, light cherries and strawberries. Long and lingering finish, great spring to summer rose. Drink till 2019.
Aged on the lees in 100% stainless steel. Blend of 66% Syrah and 24% Grenache. Only sold to their wine club.
