Damn this is singing tonight, even better than LBT a couple weeks ago. Juicy red plum and black cherries, violets and red flowers, eucalyptus, sweetly herbal, resinous too. There’s some powdered sugar, coffee as well floating around, some stoniness too. Great plushness on the palate, lively tannins. Delicious.

Last wine at Lightning Wines. Bright crimson red with moderate intensity. Elegant nose, very perfumey with rose petals and lillies. Also has a savory element with peppercorn. Moderate tannins (6/10) with great acidity and medium bodied. Well balanced with notes of cranberries, white pepper and even something similar to Dr. Pepper. Long finish. Elegant like the Chevalier Family but with a bit more body. Drink till 2024.

Interesting blend of 65% Grenache from El Dorado, 20% Mourvedre from Mendocino and 15% Cinsault from Lodi.

Excellent and consistent red blend. Always a favorite. Slightly spicy on the finish but very smooth.

Red fruit nose. Light tannic finish. Great balance. Young wine. Going to be even better with age of course. Good find
