Certified biodynamic and organic. No SO2 added. A seven year old “natural wine” (though Cooper Mountain has always avoided using the controversial moniker). Drank well over a 3 hour period. No objective, noticeable flaws. Enough to like.

This has been one of the best natural wines produced in the U.S.A, year in year out. Disregard the naysayers. This wine is everything that is right with conscious farming and winemaking. Gilles does it again.

Cedar and red fruit on the nose. Palate: good acidity but cedar dominates, some plum, red currant, cherry. Not holding its alcohol well.

Starts nice. Weak and abrupt finish. Probably needs another couple years.

Good to the last drop and a great value for solid Willamette Valley Pinot ... and an added bonus: it's organic (and fabulous).

Fruity character. Organically grown grapes I believe. Well balanced, but a little one dimensional.
