Fantastic 2011 Santa Cruz Mtn. Merlot. Winemaker most definitely made the best from a troubled vintage (cool summer). Fruity with softened tannin, cool vintage shows in the mouthwatering acidity of the finish. In a great place right now, drink now, ridiculously easy to drink.

Overall, still a good Merlot. Enticing fragrance. Fruity on the palate (especially initially) but not complex. So a good wine with food but less interesting by itself. November 2022.

Medium acidity, medium to low tannins, fruity bouquet, dry on the palate. Juicy.
