Nose of black fruit, earth , and herbaceous notes. Flavors black fruit, sweet black cherry, and some earth give a nice balance. Black fruit and drying tannins on the finish.

Deep garnet color, pink edges on the glass. Medium/heavy viscosity, no noticeable sediment. The nose has oak, ripe fresh blackberry and raspberry jam, white pepper, molasses. The palate is bold and has oak, leather, very subtle coffee, earth, mushroom. Smooth finish and nicely balanced with some acidity.
