Les Palignons Crozes-Hermitage Syrah

So complex, evolved over 2 hours decanting...notes of smoked meats, blackberry, black currant, incense, forest floor

Great vintage with a lot more life. Vibrant red with expressions of dark cherries and balanced structure. It is always a plus the next day when the producer tries to minimize preservatives.

Could only be from the Northern Rhone; herbal, perfect balance. Great value

A little stinky, tobacco, still shows a bit of fruit. Somehow, still fresh and lovely. Thanks to Mike @ Sunfish Cellars!

And then the Crozes, supposes, showed up. That's a tasty number with falafel, pitas, and tika chicken.
