Vignes de Nicole Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah

Hint of blueberry and dark fruits but on the light side, light tannin. Maybe it needs to be laid down for few years. Not a bad casual wine

Oaky and full nose. Easy to drink. Good balance of oak and tannins. Subdued acidity. Full body.

Tres doux, bon vin pas trop cher 15$. Fleural au nez. Facile à boire.

I give it a solid 9+ ! Bf gives it 7-8.

I loved this a perfect succession to the 2016 vintage in my opinion. Smooth but be sure to keep it at appropriate temperature (ours got a bit warm and i'm sure it's what influenced the bf's score). I found it easy to drink and well balanced. Acidity? I didn't perceive any really.

My bf on the other hand said he felt the need to drown the taste. Wasn't really able to tell me why or how.

I would definitely get again. He wouldn't.

Very nice wine. Smells very strong and not most pleasant but taste is smooth and balanced good from first to last sip, doesn't require much breathing. Would definitely get again.

Lovely blend. The Syrah balanced out the heaviness of the Cab. Paired lovely with a slow cooked roast. Balanced berry tannins with a light oak finish. Light to medium bodied wine.
