Ruby color with aromas of fruit, floral and earthy spice. On the palate flavors of raspberry, strawberry and cherry with notes of leafy rose pedals and hints of oak. Fine soft tannins, medium+ finish, good balance ending with fruit, spice and sweet earthy floral notes.

Light, a bit tart in its own, but turned sweet and rich when paired with a duck in cherry sauce.

Nothing wrong with this even with the silly label - though I do like sheep. Quite intensely red fruited on the nose and palate, but smooth and with enough earth to keep it balanced. Decent value.
