Classic Cab fruit nose - cranberry pomegranate with precision.

Heavier bodied, with more of that precision carrying on in the flavor profile, Like eating a pomegranate whole, every bit of it.

Classic wine from a classic wine house.

This is classic Walla Walla red, rich and full-bodied, with nice earthy mocha tones.

The 2016 ‘Walla Walla Valley’ Cabernet Sauvignon by L’Ecole No. 41 is a gorgeous new effort from this warm vintage. Intense sandalwood aromas with creme de cassis, mocha and shades of blueberry pie all mingle together in the glass. The palate has a great combination of power and elegance as blackberry pie, black tea, exotic spices and shades of dark chocolate all come together in the glass. Fantastic in its youth, this beautiful wine will have at least a decade ahead of it. Drink 2019-2029- 92

A mix of four different soil types a good amount of fresh plowed earth dark cherry fruit dark coco nice complexity. A big and chewy wine with dark currant and cherry fruit some dry tannins 100% varietal with a firm hand of acidity through the finish. Most excellent

Let breathe for an hour or so, but was underwhelmed by the power and complexity of this wine. Dark red, almost purple sight, very nice, medium bodied mouth feel and texture, well-balanced with medium tannins. Palette wasn't as interesting- I got some dried cherries, gravel, medium finish length of medium- complexity. Did I miss something here?

Getting that vegetal green pepper aromas that I dislike. Picked too young? Better on the palate with blackberries and chewy chocolate and firm tannins.

A little sour cherry and mocha/coffee. Would be great with some soft cheese!
