Lush and supple. Wishing I had another bottle.

We had the 2011 on 11/3/23. A full bodied wine with tastes of plum, blackberry and spice. More fruit forward than the other Syrahs we had that night. Also, this drank well even on the third night

L’Ecole N° 41 is a second generation, family-owned artisan winery located in the historic Frenchtown School depicted on the label, and the estate fruit is grown at the acclaimed Seven Hills Vineyard, certified sustainable and Salmon Safe. Seven Hills is a terroir-driven bunch, and it really shows in the complexity on display here. Cassis, black pepper, fig & black olive rise out of the glass to greet you. Coffee, dark cocoa, earth, clove, and oak flavors adorn this full-bodied beauty. Silky tannins go well with with chicken pot pie or bbq ribs.

Most drinkable Syrah. Little fruitier than the non-estate.
