Similar notes to 83 weeks ago on Delectable. Lovely and foamy on first pour. Notes of ripe cherry on nose and palate - also sweet Blackcurrant flavours - pretty much resolved tannins. A tradition on Christmas Day in Australia and a great food match with Roast Turkey and Ham. Have the last couple in the next 12 months.

Bright Crimson in colour with a lively foam when poured (Can't see the bead in Sparkling Shiraz!). Porty aromas which blew off. A rich full bodied palate with maraschino cherries Plums and great persistence. Perfect with Turkey Steaks. Disgorged in May 2011. My wife loved it so gets an extra point !!

An Aussie specialty to have on Australia Day- a Sparkling Shiraz. Rich and mouth filling- a delicious drink. Enjoyed introducing the style to some visiting Canadians who loved it.
