Ripe raspberry fruit - a touch sweet, when I wanted savory.
13.4% - 40% Gamay / 60% Cab Franc

Fun and functional, if a bit discordant in its front fruitiness and finishing earth tones.

40 gamay / 60 cab franc. A little savage / rustic / disjointed. Comes together and much more balanced on day 2. Really nice. Dark, medium body, smooth, a little spice. If I tasted this this blind i might guess Cru Bojo. Does a decent Touraine/Saumur impression too. Nailed it, I’d say

So much to enjoy: spicy, bright, brambly, juicy red fruit that demands a glass kept close at hand.

This is so good. A 40 gamay noir/60 cab franc blend with lots of style. Lovely red fruit, freshness all around with a *peck* of gravely soily whatever it is that makes these wines so fun. Leah Jørgensen is doing great things.
