13%abv this is a lovely uncomplicated wine. Juicy fruit flavors of green apple, yellow plum, lemon and pear with an appealing note in the background of sage and fennel plus appealing wet stone. Crisp but not overbearing acidity, juicy with a nice medium plus finish. Delightful as aperitif, with sushi or with fried calamari.

Quite aromatic with subdued white fruit and nuts on the palate. But for some reason this just doesn’t come together for me. A little too light in body, very low acid, not a refreshing finish.

Feb 22nd, 2020Nice ribolla gialla. Pretty classic in some sense, in that it’s not much macerated. Quite floral with decent acid. A bit of an oily texture (though not in a bad way).
