Vintage 2013 - at auberge tresorbelge in Pouancay this is a wine I wanted to taste and now I can cancel it from my bucketlist to drink to a list 'wanted', a Belgian winemaker with lots of passion Eddy Oosterlinck did very well in this difficult vintage. Le Clos is the result of two passes during harvest between 8th and 21th October in a vineyard on slate soil. Creamy nose, sharp, harmonious taste, went well with Belgian Potjesvlees. #anjoublanc #loveit

Aug 27th, 2020Apricot and peach deliciousness! I've only had oaked chenin from South African, which can be a bit overwhelming and heavy. Here it is subtle, balanced, and very refreshing, long zippy finish. Organic super small production in Anjou, total stunner! Great find in Paris.

Jun 18th, 2016Shortbread cookie, honey, honeysuckle nose. Also carmely saltine crackers. Palate: beautifully fatted mid palate with lemon meringue delicate acid finish.
