A very different beast from Cahors let alone Mendoza, this Loire Malbec is superb. Subdued, chalky, smoky, and spicy. Drunk and enjoyed greatly with steak.

Tasted 4 months ago and was hard and unforgiving. Starting to open a little. Fantastic nose, chalk and lavender with some nice fruit behind it. Still needs time or a lengthy decant, but this is gonna be awesome
