Deep, rich cassis on a taut frame. Has a slightly raisined edge and still substantial but softened tannins, so has the feel of a wine that hasn't aged really well but needs to age more... Very enjoyable, despite some faults, and really a lush-but-AFWE wine

A really nice fruit forward Cabernet- and atypically low tannins and soft oak from Italy. Great with a meat rich pasta.
