We had the 2014 Vintage on 3/28-29/21. This is a well balanced, fruit forward, full bodied wine with smoothed out tannins. There was blackberry, plum blueberry and a little chocolate. This wine is a bargain as there are many wines of similar quality with much higher prices.

Bright, bold, delicious fruit beginning. The second act features an oak blast. The wine smoothly finishes with metallic notes. Complex and wonderful!

I love this wine and it’s a steal for QPR! Mostly Coombsville (AVA gaining massive popularity) fruit I believe here. Black cherry, raspberry, plum, wet clay, graphite, cocoa, and mocha on the nose and it just keeps evolving. What I love here is the FRUIT (not the oak) really shines in this wine! Juicy plum, cedar and graphite carry to the palate for me. Glad I have several more and will stock up more if I find them! Recently had 2015 vintage also and I prefer this 2014

It disappointed me. The heavy vanilla oak never integrated with the wine and remained off balance and stayed as a single note wine.

Le Pich is the Wappo Indian term for "golden eagle," and this wild birds wingspan is massive. It will come in fast and hard and treat you like a helpless mouse in the field and swoop you up into the sky in its grape soaked talons. But then, what a ride once it opens up! "Nice eagle", you say..."take me to your nest and do what you do." It's like getting punched in the face followed by a tantric massage. This is the stuff of awesomeness.
