Ripe, rich. Slightly rough edges but silky mid palate. Well integrated oak notes. Touch of bitter on long full tanins at finish

Still young. Decanted. Muscular. I like the 2007 more for where it's at right now.

Delicious & ripe w/a beautiful hint of Italian

This is a modern style red. Fair amount of oak and dark fruit. If I tasted it blind I’d probably guess napa cab.

Cranberries and cherry, cedar, cigar box, and because I don't like gratuitous alliteration, mineral notes. There isn't any of the off-putting green pepper flavor you can sometimes find in a cabernet franc. Although none of us could explain it, we all placed this as an Italian expression not a French or Californian. No hurry to drink this, but no need to sit on it further.
