A typical Bdx nose. Palette is stemy with bell peppers. It tasted better that it reads. Bottle age may not correct these characters. Still enjoyable, tho.

Feb 12th, 2018An Haut-Medoc made by Château Giscours. This is quite nice in a rich, early-drinking style. Nose opens up within 60 minutes to show dark cherry fruit, cedar, and low-toned stony gravel. The palate is mouthfilling and soft, with ripe dark plummy fruit and earthy, savory notes. The finish is clingy with a nice bitter note growing at the close. Nicely done and a good value.

High-pitched nose of ripe black fruits, rose petals and charred wood - maybe cedar. The palette is bright and lively with a moderately sweet fruit profile. Mid palette presents with green peppers (in a good way). Finishes plush, with a touch of dryness.
