Waxy lemons, crunchy papierówka apples, some nice gravelly minerality. Harmonious, rounded and fresh.
Savoury on the palate, with some green pepper notes, a bit of astringency, slightly herbal. Hardly any fruit, but with good minerality, depth & length.
Still - a really lovely nose followed but a disjointed strange mouthfeel. Quaffable. Odd bottle?

OMG we purchased this a few years ago, drank the others but discovered this tonight. The price on this is steep but if you want a treat, its worth it. The Semillion balances the Sauv Blanc in a earthy Bordeaux style. Long finish, crisp, with great body

Pristine bottle, I love the 2001 whites. Light gold in color, great acidity, lush mouthfeel.
