Jan 22nd, 2026Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, red fruits, cherry, strawberry, and some oak. On the palate, cherry, strawberry, and vanilla. Some forest floor and minerals. Long finish of same. Soft and easy mouthfeel. Full body. Organic wine. Predominately merlot with some Cabernet franc. After breathing for over an hour, coffee and chocolate were present on the nose, and the palate presented a bit more vibrant cherry. Definitely a good amount of fresh and crisp fruit on the palate.

2020 Benjamin de Beauregard second label wine. Dark ruby. On the nose, fruity. On the palate, softer and smoother, from the southern vineyard. Not as complex. Easy to drink.

Still fresh. Plummy, pencil and a touch of Brett. Lovely.
