Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.
Earthier on the nose with wet leaves and forest floor notes. Really enjoyed the nose and kept smelling on it.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with medium acidity and long legs.
Showing black fruits with tobacco, cedar, vanilla, licorice, spices, eucalyptus, chocolates, herbs, cocoa, earth and peppercorn.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Showing lots of eucalyptus and licorice notes. Nicely balanced with nice complexity.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after an hour of airtime. Gets spicier as it opens up.
This 8 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from the great 2015 vintage is gorgeous now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years.

What a nose! Such bright black and blue fruit! Needs 45 min decant and the wine is absolutely gorgeous. Blue and black fruit galore, ripe and juicy but not a juice bomb, wonderfully structured tannins and solid backbone, minerality. Nice long finish. Adore this wine!

Feb 18th, 2024Pretty much same comments as the ‘16. Fantastic wine. Blue and black fruit, baking spices, minerality. Great luscious mouthfeel, silky tannins. Fantastic structure.

Sep 25th, 2022Great mouth feel, dense and luscious. Very dark ruby. Perfectly ripe blackberries, black currants, baking spices. Drinking well after 15 minutes but will continue to open up. Nice long finish. Drinking so well now but another 5 years will be kind to my last bottle if I can wait that long.
