I’m legit about to pop over Laurent Saillard's "POP" blend of Cab Franc & Pineau d'Aunis. It smells like a faint breeze of clean laundry, tastes like ruby red grapefruits sprinkled with salt, garnished with lime rinds & thyme, and feels like you just gulped a glass of palpable sexual tension. It has this intensely flirtatious energy to it, like you've teasing back & forth with someone all afternoon and then they pull you in close by your belt-loops & you don't know if you're going to makeout or explode, but it's most definitely both. Honestly? I could jerk off to this wine and it is currently leading the race of the official sparkling wine of the summer. Pair it with Hot Flash Heat Wave's "Dirty Dreamer (XXX)".

A crisp and refreshing combination of watermelon Jolly Rancher and the distinctive Pineau d'Aunis celery seed and white pepper, it works surprisingly well with a grilled porterhouse. The light effervescence and just a touch of sweetness makes it really easy to drink (that and I'm a sucker for Pineau d'Aunis). Nice.

Dec 31st, 2017Tastes like rich and complex strawberry soda. Really nice. I prefer funkier but it's nice to have that slight natural bubble and young sweetness. Refreshing!
