May 13th, 2019I truly do not care what the ratings are for this wine. it was definitely the wine of the night and we had a ton of bad ass wines tonight! Such balance and opulence. Time definitely did this justice as it was fully integrated and drank like a kick ass Bordeaux!!!! All of us at the table tonight we’re looking at each other going, OMG! We literally could not put the bottle down as it was that good. Thank you so much my friend for sharing this gorgeous beauty with us.!!!! @David Wrightson @David L You would have loved this monster my friend! Reminiscent of the bad ass wines that we killed in New York together!@Shawn R A repeat will be forthcoming soon enough! Can’t wait to get together! Love you guys! Can’t Wait to see all of you guys!! LOL

Mar 12th, 2018First vintage under the Laurel Glen label. Drinking nicely; excellent example of what well-made (and well-stored) California wine can be at 35 years old!

Big disappointment. No fruit left, shut down, no aromatics. Thought it could have been corked but alas it wasn't.

Oct 21st, 2014Shows a little of the bell pepper aromas that I often found in older Sonoma Cabs, but nicely balanced fruit that is still quite youthful, tannins have mostly receded, drinking quite well tonight, bravo Patrick for making this gem!!

Oct 15th, 2023Still quite nicely-structured, definitely a mountain Cab with its somewhat firm tannins, long and lush fruit into the finish, could easily go another 10-20 years based on this bottle, lovely!!
