1996 vintage. Very mineral, "rocky" nose, high acid, restrained cab with still lively black fruit (cassis) and spices.Profound and balanced by very present but well-integrated mountain tannin. Very mineral finish. Lovely if you like this style.

Big, Rich, compellingly fruit forward but showing lovely earth tones as well. Complex and lovely. A beautifully made wine.
