This is a steal at $20. Intense, ripe nose with notes of Concord grape, damp earth, hint of mushroom and lemon. Palate not quite up to the nose; full but a bit simple. Needed some breathing time. If it was a Rhone it'd be $40. Love the Languedoc. Points for cost/benefit ratio.

Pleasant red. Full bodied, blackberries, herbaceous (on the edge of absinthe). Opens up wonderfully.

My first experience with this variety, was quit nice! Definitely opened up and became bolder, more flavorful as the dinner wore on. I would recommend!
