From mag. This is in great shape. Light and honeyed edges. Fresh in the middle still. Good minerality. Not as complex as the greatest champagnes but enough age to be really interesting

What a Friday group tasting put on by Dan! Killer wines. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 5 reds, 1 dessert. All blind.
My guess here was mid-2000s Bollinger. Very creamy up front. The finish was so tart and dry that it begged for another sip. Yeasty, light chalk, crisp acidity.

60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay mostly from grand cru vineyards and spent 8 yrs on the lees, no Malo....very layered and spicy, creamy mouthfeel, honey, and an amazing buttery finish. Really liking it's freshness and price
