Nerocapitano Sicilia Frappato

Deliscious; funky up front but silky with some air. Decidedly different than Occhipinti but unmistakably Frappato

A reminder that this is hands down the best example of the varietal available

Red cherry, cranberry / savory herbs, slight spiciness

A healthy amount of elegant strawberries on the nose here. I found the wine somewhat lacking taste-wise though as it felt thin and hollow. Nothing wrong with the flavors per se, but there was stuff missing for me.
