Actually quite good. You can taste the distinctive spicy qualities given to this wine by the Canadian oak, while it maintains a decisively lighter body than its warmer climate counterparts. It's like a Pinot noir with Syrah characteristics. I liked it quite a bit, but only because I'm appreciating its uniqueness. It's quite smooth too.

Red berries, black currant, white cracked pepper and smokey meat. A refreshing dry finish. Yum!
