Aging beautifully

One of the best new world Syrah's I've had. This is the best right now out of the 2001 - 2006. Blackberry brambles, violets, and some spices.

Showing great. Love the wines, love the people. Properly animal and Syrah-correct. Blackberry, pepper, meat. Delicious.

I met Carol Meredith at James King's house when she introduced her wines to our wine group. I liked this one the best and bought a couple bottles. It has a quality that is hard to describe...

Kicking serious ass. Aromatics evolving beautifully in glass, the finish is gaining intensity and focus. Clearly a wine with years ahead of it. Wish I had more. A mighty, mighty fine Syrah.

Nice, grape lollipop sort of nose and palette. Led into a little savory fruit as the wine developed with air. Soft, full mouthfeel with pretty round, if present, tannin. Great showing for a 11 year old Mt, Veeder Syrah.

Near perfection. One of my all time favorites. This wine is in a great place. Get some if you can track it down.

Legendary.

These wines take forever to age, but it is delicious. Black cherry, bacon fat, and a ton of acidity. Beautifully balanced.
