Double decanted and it took a while for it to open up. But once it did the plum, black cherry, and cocoa were very nice. I really like Howell Mountain Cabs.

1.5 hour decant(some chunky/fine sediment). A radiant dark ruby red color. On the nose: Subtle notes of cinnamon, spicy perfume, blueberry, floral, and earth. Taste: A medium body wine with black fruit, licorice, coffee...a chocolate dark cherry medium finish with some slightly grippy tannins on the end.
