Really impressed with how well this one aged. Lots of cherry on this one, nice and complex still. Good by itself or with food.

More fruit than the last 2012 we visited. Dried cherries and cranberries. tobacco, wet earth, black tea, anise, vanilla. Great acidity and good structure. Good finish. Just drinking absolutely beautifully right now.

Before opening up, the wine had a saltiness to it. After that dissipated, the dark fruit came forward. The nose is very floral with dark fruit and black licorice.
