Light lemon in color with a green hue.
On the nose green apples, citrus, oranges, mangoes, lemons, grapefruits, peaches, metals and minerals.
Light bodied and crisp with medium plus acidity.
Bone dry and watery on the palate, with citrus, metals, green apples, mangoes, bananas and white pepper.
Short finish with limes and metals.
A very simple, unbalanced and unattractive Pinot Grigio from Veneto, Italy. It got nice reviews, but apparently, isn't my cup of tea...
12% alcohol by volume.

Mar 7th, 2016Not the most sophisticated Pinot Grigio I’ve had but a perfectly fine representation of a lower end of the style. Green apple and lemon zest, again not overly complex and I wish I paid $9 a bottle instead of 180 pesos for a glass.
