2009, and just friggin' beautiful. Brilliant acidity, all the tart red fruit you could want, with dust and earth and grip.

Cherry liqueurs, figs, raspberry tea, cola, tobacco, thyme, graphite, iron, toasted oak, bay leaf. Vibrant acid/narrow rough velvet tannin grip, full bodied, soft juicy texture, long dark fruit-smoky-herbal-earthy finish. Structure and firm tannins make it ideal as a red meat wine. 30 minute decanting recommended.
