A solid Brunello, classic profile and well-balanced. Black cherry, bright acid and fairly big tannins for a cool vintage (from last night)

Light ruby in the glass. Earthy leathery notes on the nose. Full body on the palette with some spice. Lingering finish! Excellent Tuscany Wine.

Some blackberry and black currant on the nose. Soft on taste with some black fruits and earth. Drinking good.

Opened this up last year and it was a dud. Saved a bottle and opened it up and wow. Different beast.

What not to like. Needed a few hours of decanting and next day was best. Earthy, plum, black cherry, leather, spice. Full bodied yet elegant. Nice acidity and tannin still. Good good wine for sure. Had with a creamy pasta dish with broccoli, sweet potatoes, fresh garlic and red chili flakes.

Mid-body, with deep cherry notes. Wet bark. Smooth, melodic alongside a rich bucatini.

Really enjoyable. Great nose, a little subtle on the palate but elegant I think rather not than muted. Need to try second bottle.
