Heavier than 2010-12 but the extra oak is now integrated and it works. Unlike previous vintages, this one needs meat.

Pure and stunning. A bit sacrilegious to open so young but such pleasure in the glass

Complex and persistent, but the oak probably needs a few more years to integrate. Rather full bodied for a Chambolle.

Nice but lacks a bit of elegance for Chambolle. Give it a couple years and I suspect things will be more harmonious.

Generous, excellent village level Chambolle. Although perhaps not as fragrant and long as the 2011, this has more structure and depth. About as redrinkable as they come.

Third time having this, and the least memorable. Not as great a bottle but perhaps we didn't give it enough time to shine.
