Powerful and brooding, much more so than I'd expect from the generally approachable 2011 Brunellos. I'm drinking more 2011s than 2010s right now because the latter are aging nicely, but should have hung onto this one for a while.

Pop and pour. Showing aromatically much better than the last btl. On the nose: sweet red fruit, camphor, and some va. On the palate: excellent acidity, ok density, then somewhat rustic black fruit and grainy tannin; less elegant on the palate than on the nose. Dark finish, and much better with food.

Candied cherry and leather nose. Nice acid on the the pallet that flows a nice long refined tannin finish. If you can find it, you should get it!
