Terrific Pinot for a moderate price tag. My only gripe is that it is moderately reductive and needs 30 minutes in the decanter to strut its stuff.

La Crotta Pinot Noir, Valée d'Aoste, Italy. #Pinot from the rugged alpine region of NW Italy. Aromas of dried cherry and cranberry followed by dried red fruit, cedar and pepper notes. Quite soft and easy drinking. Perhaps a but expensive compared to other Pinot options from other regions. #wins #sommelier #italy

Nice. Good balance, ripe fruit, structured tannins. Solid finish. Not memorable though.

A new surprise from local warehouse. Presents itself at first like a light gamay but lingers into the pinot direction and stays there.

I feel much better about this than some reviews floating around.
