Dark Ruby red with berry fruit and spice aromas. The palate shows blackberry, cherry and plum fruits with gentle spice. Tannins were noted as well as some oaky notes. The finish was about medium and ended with toasty spice. Tasting Sample.

Not what you expect in a Sangiovese. Less acidic, with much more balance. Slight earth and bacon fat on the nose. Almost unbelievably smooth fruit and more full bodied than most Sangio. Very nicely done.
