Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhône Blend

Straightforward, modern style CDP. Quite warm, syrupy, and sweet, flashy and open. This did calm down a bit with air. Not really my style, but it did have a nice purity to the fruit profile, and I appreciated the cleanliness / Brett free with no obtrusive oak character. If these wines are your thing, you’ll love this.

Lots of fruit. A little heat. Worked well with turkey dinner.
