I last had the 2011 two years ago. Iodine, smoke, and dark red fruits coming through. Plenty of structure and a tannic backbone to help this last. Serving with pan-seared Moulard duck breasts.

Not as big as expected. Solid wine, sweet fine tannins on finish, good dark fruit component.

When it hits the palate this wine is heady and intense. Deep licorice and garrigue flavors first, then dark jammy fruit. Nose is wet stones and cherry pit.
