Needing a palate primer to start an evening of wine tasting, I popped the cork of a NV L. Mawby Brut Sparkling Wine 'Talismøn'. A bright light gold, it sparkled with tiny cascading bubbles and emitted lovely crisp aromas of yeast, citrus and kiwi with nutty toast overtones. Nice acidity on the palate and a refreshing bitter ginger bite on the tongue.
