Les Péres Chartreuse Liqueur
A great cocktail made with a "suicide" lime from my dwarf tree & Anchor Old Tom. Happy Sunday!

Jan 12th, 2015From the early years of the Chartreuse monks' exile in Tarragona, when they were expelled from France. Distilled in Spain circa 1930. Aged Chartreuse really is a totally different experience.
Countless herbal, floral and vegetal aromas sweetly rise to the surface, seemingly one after the other in rhythm. Each one is startling in clarity, but none of them shout.
There's something almost vinous about swirling and enjoying this, belying its potent alcoholic strength. I would pay an embarrassing sum to try this again.

Master Sommelier
Straight up Tarragona style. While being more of a vert than a jaune guy, this is still pretty good.

Aug 15th, 2014All the savoir faire of years monks experience in a bottle. Lots of herbs flavor, sweet. Stays long in mouth. Prefer the green from the yellow.
