Nov 4th, 2014Very interesting! With 45 minutes of air, initially the wine has some sweet notes in mid palate causing me to guess New World. Quickly however it achieved a superb light balance that had me guessing! Light, cherries, stems I was surprised to find a New Zealand wine! Highly recommended

Mar 2nd, 2017Kusuda, you bloody genuis! What an elegant wine. Needs time to develop more tertiary flavours, but it's just layers upon layers of red fruit encased in just the right amount of oak. Opened up over the period of two days, revealing rose petals, smokey game and forest floor characters, with a hint of lovely herbaceousness. Fine fine tannins. Long finish. So tasty!
