Slanghoek Cabernet Sauvignon Cinsault

Tastes like smoke and moldy cheese (earth/chlorine). Good balancing acidity - pomegranate. It’s pretty decent but smoke is not my preferred flavor profile in wine. Would be excellent with soft moldy cheese — or smoked cheese! 87.

Fun South African wine - Cab and Cinsault blend that was more jammy than expected but still great with a savory dish. Bought at BP.

Less verve and depth than expected. Super simple and never grew.
