Really nothing much more to add from my (and other Delectable users) previous notes about this incredible Chardonnay. Notes of pear, pineapple and cashew. Creamy on the palate. Simply put - a top shelf new world Chardonnay - now drinking at its peak.

Medium lemon in colour. An intriguing classy nose showing funky leesy notes, nectarine, cashew nut, flint and gunsmoke - many nuances. Palate staining citric intensity. One of the world’s great new world Chardonnays - no exaggeration. Has become an annual purchase for me. Postscript:: Similar notes to the 2010 vintage 193 weeks ago. This year I bought the “Hunting Hill” and “Coddington” Cuvées for the first time. Will be interesting to see the differences.

A very impressive wine. Five and half year after harvest and the wine is only in the only in the beginning of a very long journey. A layered, complex and intense nose, oozing of minerals with plenty of fruit to balance the oak. Powerful but never heavy, and athletic wine with a vibrant acidity, a broad mid palate and a long finish.. More Burgundian than most Burgundies, costs peanuts.

Sublime with chicken, summer squash, and fingerling potatoes in the slow cooker with fino sherry sauce.

Stone fruit on the nose with some citrus and oak coming through. Quite a big wine, lots of structure and lots going on. Good attack. Oak, acid, peach, dominate. Slightly disjointed at the moment but all the elements are there to coalesce with age.

A little oak with butter, pears, apples and a hint of effervescence.
