Loved this. Classy wine, its harmony and grace coupled with crystal lear fruit make for an awesome drop. Texturally engaging, wonderfully perfumed, cleary earns its benchmark status

Super impressed by this. Toasted oak, ripe apple and pear, citrus peel, hint of tropical, the nose is exactly like a white burgundy. Beautiful mouthfeel, the acidity and richness/roundness integrate so well that I couldn’t even describe. This $40 New Zealand Chardonnay can easily crush some $80 or more Puligny/Chassagne Montrachet premier crus. Strongly recommend!

Exceptional wine and so classically elegant (not using the B word) except that its hiding an extra point of alcohol (14%) behind an unassuming pale hay glow that looks light and lean. I love the bait and switch.

The delicate sprinkled spices of lemon curd and vanilla and toasted coconut shaving juxtapose the power in the palette - weight and viscosity and length to go the distance.

10 years in, in a perfect spot.

Jaune claire
Nez exotique et de chardonnay pas son équilibre frais et mûr
Bouche ample sans perdre sa vivacité
Finale longue sur un beau boisé et des notes beurrées 👍👍

I seem to be in a repeat mode! I have rated this previously and love this Chardonnay...previous notes apply! I hope everyone is having a good holiday weekend! Great weekend for Iowa Hawkeye's & Chicago Cubs (haven't seen today's score)! 😉
