Super impressed by this. Toasted oak, ripe apple and pear, citrus peel, hint of tropical, the nose is exactly like a white burgundy. Beautiful mouthfeel, the acidity and richness/roundness integrate so well that I couldn’t even describe. This $40 New Zealand Chardonnay can easily crush some $80 or more Puligny/Chassagne Montrachet premier crus. Strongly recommend!

Sep 2nd, 2018Very nice Chardonnay from New Zealand..lemon..pear..apple..baking spices...lemon custard..soft minerals..nice lush mouthful...lingering finish. I do believe this is my first Chardonnay from New Zealand...very impressive!! Great recommendation @Ely Cohn !
