Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, black currants, wood, earth, green vegetables, beef jerky, spices, herbs, light vanilla, chocolates, dark coffee, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.
Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
This is a nice Red Blend from Napa County. Not fully balanced yet, as it is still young, but already enjoyable, even by itself. Showing nice complexity and mouthfeel. Has a tangy ending that makes it interesting.
Would benefit from a couple of years in the bottle. Needs two hours to open up properly and remove some of the acidity.
I paired it with a cheese plate, fruits and crackers.

Predominately CabSauv & Zin, shines through but without the over saturated and extracted fruit. Dark, inky, peppery notes with medium tannins that dissipate evenly without just falling off entirely from the flavor profile. Well structured.

A nice blend, with a round, chocolate/cinnamon note I associate with pricier wines. Big, but easy drinking. About right at $21.
